The Owner!
William J.B. (Brent) Cross has been riding bikes and driving hot rods since he was 16 years old. A long time Milton resident, Brent is married and has two children: both girls. Besides being a licensed Motive Power Machinist (Engine Rebuilder-Machinist), he is also a licensed Motorcycle Mechanic and Electrician (Motor Repair) in the Province of Ontario. Always finishing at the top of his class, he was given the Ross Thomson Memorial Award for outstanding student by Centennial College (Scarborough, ON) upon graduating from his Motorcycle Mechanics Advanced Program in 1990. Brent wrote his provincial exam shortly thereafter and has been licensed ever since. Besides his varied technical educational achievements, regular academics have also played a big part in his life and in 1996 he graduated from Laurentian University’s Law and Justice Program (Honours) in Sudbury, ON (receiving several scholarships along the way). A strong believer that “your education never ends” Brent is always taking courses and improving his skills in an effort to provide customers with the best service possible.
Brent is currently a member of the faculty at Centennial College in Scarborough where he teaches the Motorcycle Technician Apprenticeship Program during the winter season.
Community oriented as well, Brent has served with the 23 Service Battalion (Hamilton) Canadian Forces Reserves (as a Vehicle Tech), is a member of the Canadian Legion (Branch 136), and has volunteered his time to several organizations over the years such as the Halton Children’s Aid Society and the HRPS Victim Services Unit. Brent also belongs to many clubs such as the Canadian Vintage Motorcycle Group and the Ontario Steam & Antique Preservers Association (to name just a few). Brent currently serves with the Canadian Forces Reserves as an Officer (in the CIC) and is attached to the local Air Cadet Squadron (820 RCACS) in Milton where he is the Commanding Officer (holding the rank of Major) after completing 2 full terms as the Commanding Officer of the local Army Cadet Corp (2990 Lorne Scots).
